Rare Earths Round-Up: Yttria Finishes Week With 8.3% Increase

The week’s biggest mover on the weekly Rare Earths MMI® was yttria, which saw a 8.3 percent increase. Lanthanum oxide closed last week, after a 4.3 percent rise in price. One of the big movers this week was cerium oxide, which shot up 4.2 percent to reach.

Terbium oxide climbed 3.0 percent increase. Following a 2.9 percent increase, dysprosium oxide finished the week. Dysprosium oxide gained a slight 2.9 percent this past week. Prices for europium oxide remained constant, closing the week.

Neodymium oxide remained unchanged for the week. Following a steady week, prices for praseodymium neodymium oxide closed flat. Praseodymium oxide prices held steady from the previous week. The price of rare earth carbonate did not change since the previous week.

Samarium oxide remained essentially flat from the previous week. Terbium metal traded sideways last week. The week finished with no movement for yttrium.
