LME Spot Price of Nickel Sees Small Decrease
The day’s biggest mover was the nickel spot price which dropped by 1.7 percent on Tuesday, February 25 to close at $14,155 per metric ton on the LME. On the LME, the nickel 3-month price declined 1.7 percent to $14,195 per metric ton. The cash price of primary Indian nickel after a two-day drop.

Chinese stainless steel closed mixed yesterday. The price of Chinese ferro-chrome saw essentially no change for the fifth day in a row. The price of Chinese ferro-moly was unchanged.

The price of Chinese primary nickel saw a 0.2 percent decline. The price of Chinese 316 stainless coil held steady. For the fifth day in a row, the price of Chinese 304 stainless coil remained essentially flat. The price of Chinese 316 stainless steel scrap continues hovering around for the fifth day in a row. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese 304 stainless steel scrap held flat.
