US Silver Price Drops Big; Gold, Platinum, Palladium All Lower

On Thursday, February 27, the day’s biggest mover was US silver, which saw a 3.1 percent decline. The price of Chinese silver fell 2.0 percent. The price of Japanese silver declined 0.3 percent. Indian silver stayed flat.

The price of Chinese gold bullion weakened by 1.1 percent. US gold bullion prices saw a 0.9 percent decline. Japanese gold bullion finished the day up 0.4 percent. The price of Indian gold bullion remained essentially flat.

US platinum bar finished the day down 0.8 percent. The price of Chinese platinum bar declined 0.7 percent, after two days of improvement. Japanese platinum bar prices inched up 0.2 percent.

Japanese palladium bar closed 0.6 percent lower. US palladium bar fell 0.5 percent on Thursday. The price of Chinese palladium bar remained steady.
