Indian Silver Rises 7.2%; Chinese Gold Also Gains

Indian silver saw a 7.2 percent increase on Monday, March 3, making it the biggest upwards shift of the day. The price of US silver finished the market day up 1.6 percent per ounce. Following a two-day drop, the price of Chinese silver increased by 0.8 percent. The price of Japanese silver steadied following two-days of dropping prices.

US gold bullion finished the day up 1.5 percent. Chinese gold bullion gained 0.9 percent to finish. Japanese gold bullion prices saw a 0.3 percent decline. The price of Indian gold bullion increased 0.2 percent.

After a 1.0 percent increase, Japanese platinum bar finished the day. Chinese platinum bar saw its price rise 0.7 percent. The price of US platinum bar was essentially unchanged.

After a few days of little change, the price of Chinese palladium bar jumped 0.6 percent. After dropping for two days, the price of Japanese palladium bar flattened. US palladium bar saw little change in its price on Monday.
