French Apple website iGen.fr is reporting that pricing for the new stainless steel Apple Watch may start at $500, while the gold Apple Watch’s pricing could start between $4,000 and $5,000.
Apple announced that the Apple Watch would start at $350, which was widely assumed to be the price of the aluminum model, and estimates pegged the price of the gold Apple Watch at prices as low as $1,000 or as high as $5,000, there has been little information regarding the pricing of the stainless steel option.
The site’s sources also indicate that Apple still aims to release the Apple Watch by Valentine’s Day 2015.
Dropping 2.7%, the Indian nickel cash price was the biggest mover on Monday, November 10, closing at INR 955.00 ($15.58) per kilogram. On the LME, the spot price of nickel showed little movement on Monday, hovering around $15,260 per metric ton. On the LME, the nickel 3-month price remained essentially flat at $15,335 per metric ton.
Chinese stainless steel prices closed flat for the day. The price of Chinese ferro-chrome remained essentially flat at CNY 8,300 ($1,351) per metric ton. The price of Chinese ferro-moly held steady at CNY 145,000 ($23,609) per metric ton.
For the fifth day in a row, the Allegheny Ludlum 316 stainless surcharge remained essentially flat at $1.06 per pound. The price of Chinese 316 stainless coil was unchanged at CNY 26,000 ($4,233) per metric ton. The price of Chinese 304 stainless coil saw little movement at CNY 16,400 ($2,670) per metric ton. The price of Chinese 316 stainless steel scrap saw essentially no change for the fifth day in a row, remaining around CNY 16,100 ($2,621) per metric ton. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese 304 stainless steel scrap held flat at CNY 16,400 ($2,670) per metric ton.
