Commerce: Carbon Steel Pipes from South Korea, Mexico and Turkey Dumped

The Commerce Department recently released affirmative preliminary determinations in the anti-dumping duty investigations of imports of heavy walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from South Korea, Mexico, and Turkey.

Commerce preliminarily determined that heavy walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from South Korea, Mexico, and Turkey have been sold in the U.S. at dumping margins ranging from 2.53%t to 3.81%, 3.99%to 16.31%, and up to 14.48%, respectively.

The petitioners for these investigations are Atlas Tube, a division of JMC Steel Group; Bull Moose Tube Company; EXLTUBE1 (except in investigation involving Mexico); Hannibal Industries, Inc.; Independence Tube Corporation; Maruichi American Corporation; Searing Industries; Southland Tube; and Vest, Inc.
